This book is artfully written and can touch a 4 year old as well as a 94 year old. I say 4 because my 4 year old niece loves this book. She was amazed at the beautiful illustrations and she loved the story. As a high school English teacher, I know that my students can read and engage in discussion about the themes in this book. It is a fairy-tale of sorts that touches on love, race, environment, and coming together in perfect unity. One of the messages of the book is: There is a perfect place where you and I can meet, be ourselves, and create a collaborative experience and existence.Some reasons to experience this book:

This is a fantastic children's book!! It has a great moral and a really wonderful lesson informing children about different cultures throughout the world. The illustrations are very beautiful and it was an excellent story to read!
The art work alone is a gift. Young children love to and touch and turn the pages! It is really perfect for reading to little ones...creates wonderful questions to share and images to explore. Makes it possible to talk with all ages about special aspects of love, and relationship and differences. And beauty!!!
Tasha's book is a beautifully-written tale about acceptance, love, and cultural diversity. The pictures are vivid and detailed-if I'd had this book as a child, I would have been absolutely fascinated by the colors and detail in the pictures. The text is descriptive and deep. It's an excellent tool for teaching young children about different cultures and the importance of finding common ground to overcome any uncertainty or concerns. This book can do wonders for encouraging creativity and positive connections. I'd highly recommend it!
